What to Bring
These are just suggested items. By no means do you need to stick to this list, if you have specific questions please email us. Most things can be purchased on island for an inflated price. Specific brands or products are not always available however.
Clothing
- Summer clothing (shorts, skirts, tshirts, tank tops, sundresses, swim suits, coverups)
- Flip Flops (lots), sneakers. Comfort is key! Don’t worry about bringing many heals
- Work out clothes and running shoes
- Light rain coat, umbrella
- Nice dress/suit & tie for White Coat Ceremony
- Jeans & sweatshirt/sweater for on campus (A/C is always on there and can be quite cold)
- Sunglasses, hat/visor
Personal Items
- Prescriptions (some are available here, but you may want to check first)
- Feminine Products (some brands are available but very expensive)
- Contacts/glasses
- Cosmetics (limited brand availability)
- Sunscreen. Bring a lot, SPF 30 is recommended, again very expensive here
- Hair accessories (blow dryers and straighteners are not necessarily worth it here)
- Tweezers, nail clippers, etc.
- Anything else you want specific brands of
Household Items
- Duct Tape
- Screwdriver
- Surge Protectors
- Batteries
- Decorations to make it feel more like home
- Sheets/towels if your place doesn’t provide them
Electronics
- Cameras and chargers
- Ipods, mini speakers
- DVD’s
- Video Game console and games if desired
- Computers and chargers
- Cell phones (if desired) that can be unlocked
