Hurricanes

Hurricane season is a part of the adventure while living on St. Maarten.  Hurricane season each year is from June 1st to November 30th.  You will want to make sure you have storage water, flashlights and batteries, a battery operated radio and extra food supplies during the season.  AUC has resources for students and their families that make weathering a hurricane must less stressful.  You are able to stay at the University if you prefer, which has their own water and food supply for students and families.  The university is built to withstand the strongest hurricane levels.  For more information on AUC’s hurricane preparedness, visit:
